Our process for building a custom website with your business at the core

Listening and learning

You’re the expert in your business, and all businesses are unique, so we’ll have a chat and we’ll learn about you and your customers to make sure that we provide a solution that works for you.

Your content strategy

We’ll determine a goal or the ideal outcome from a visitor browsing your website. That will allow us to work out what content is required to achieve that goal and how that content should be structured. We’ll also work out if you need a CMS, content management system, to allow you to expand any dynamic content.

Wireframing and design

With your businesses goal always in mind, we then start testing layouts, creating wireframes and designing prototypes to work out how to guide the user to all of the information they need. Ultimately, this is where we work out what your website looks like and how it’s navigated!

Website development

At this stage we take the visual design and build a website. We integrate best practices for SEO from the start and specific design considerations for devices with smaller screens to ensure everyone gets a great experience. We’ll also set up the CMS here if you need it.

Testing and launch

Continuously throughout development we optimise the website for speed, compress and optimise images as well as perform browser and mobile testing to make sure the website works on all devices.

We’ll hand off the website to you and provide all the training you need to update your website. No maintenance required and stress-free.

There aren’t any plugins to keep up-to-date or server security updates to remember, just a streamlined experience that allows you to easily make updates as needed.

Testing and launch

Taste, season if required, and serve while hot

Just as we like to unexpectedly switch up the theme of our headline metaphors, users may not always arrive on our site the way we expect either. We can’t be sure what device or which browser they will be using. During testing we check that the website performs on as many screen sizes, devices and browsers as we can to ensure all visitors get an equal experience.

Once testing has been carried out, we provide training on how to edit your website and transfer it over to you. There are no server security updates to run, or plugins to keep up to date, all of this is taken care of. All you need to do is keep on top of your new leads and keep adding testimonials from your new customers!
